Prime Studio® Prime Compressor

Due to its characteristic sounding compression, one of the rarest and most sought-after analogue tools is the Prime Studio® Compressor model. With a simple and easy-to-set tool that gives your tracks the warmth and punch that only vintage audio devices can offer, you now have spice that’s been missing in your sound kitchen so far.

By completely controlling the input and output signals, as well as reducing the gain of vintage-style VU meters, you can fine-tune your sound with the make-up gain, hold and recovery controls and switching between compressor and limiter , As a mono effect, for parallel compression or even when used in the master bus, Prime Studio® Compressor ennobles the sound.

Use the “ECO” switch to disable preamp stages and save CPU performance. Also included is a “live” version, which relieves the CPU bypassing the harmonic distortion functionality, and a “zero latency” version for direct recording with the plug-in.

Prime Studio® Prime Curve

To complete the console channel in combination with Prime Studio® Prime Mix and Prime Studio® Compressor, Curve offers additional bass and presence frequencies of 500, 800, 1,200, 1,800, 2,800, 4,200, 6,500 and 10,000 Hz in addition to the harmonic preamp. Distortion is set with the input level control. Always maintain control of your signal levels with the VU style input and output indicators.

Prime Studio® Prime Mix

Simply switch between channels 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 when using Prime Mix on different tracks to achieve the same character as summing up the signals on a vintage analog console and adding the sound of the soundtrack add slightly different sounding channels. Measured pan and fader characteristics as well as a soft and punchy bass equalizer and a high pass filter complete this great sounding tool.
